How GoVantage works
GoVantage is two businesses on one platform. We rent vans to people and businesses who drive for a living, and we license the same system to other fleets. Every feature runs our own vans before it is offered to anyone else.
Two ways in
Weekly van hire for couriers, trades and businesses, with servicing and MOT included. Apply online, collect from our depot or have the van delivered.
The system we use ourselves, under your name, with your data in a database of your own: bookings, checks, agreements, billing, the garage and the apps.
What we provide
For renters: vans, plans, insurance options, servicing, checks and support. For fleets: a workspace with your name on it and everything below.

Methods
The methods below are the ones our own fleet runs on; a workspace gets the same rules with its own settings.
Applications
Licence, identity, address and right to work are read and checked; a person approves. The deposit and the first weeks are paid before collection.
Weekly
Weeks run Sunday to Saturday and are invoiced at the end of the week for the days had; part weeks and days off are priced by the day. Direct Debit collects.
Handovers
Check-out and check-in photograph every panel and compare against the baseline, so any deduction is itemised and evidenced.
Every week
Drivers do a two-minute check in the app; it keeps the van legal and earns reward points.
Agreements
Agreements come from templates, are signed on screen by both sides and kept with their audit trail.
Messages
Reminders and confirmations go by email and, with the tool, WhatsApp, only to people who said yes.
Onboarding
Choose the Core plan or Dealer, your workspace address, and tell us about your fleet. A person reviews every application within two working days.
Once approved and the platform agreement is signed online, your workspace opens on a free trial. No card is taken.
Add vans, depots, plans and prices, invite your team with roles, set your brand and terms, connect GoCardless and WhatsApp if you use them. Ask for the set-up service if you would rather we did it.
Take applications, bookings and payments under your own name. One monthly statement for the platform, pro rata by the day.
Who does what
GoVantage owns anything that touches other tenants, the platform’s reputation or the law; you own your brand, people, money and messages.

Security and data
Each workspace has its own database, separate from every other business on GoVantage.
Backed up every night with encrypted off-site copies, and restore drills so the backups are known to work.
Your workspace runs and is backed up in the United Kingdom.
Vans, customers, rentals, invoices, documents and photos export from the console; readable for 30 days after you leave.
Staff see what their role allows; every action is logged with who did it and when.
Staff two-step is required: an app, email codes or passkeys, with backup codes.
Support
Email and the console’s help; a person on our team replies within one working day, usually sooner.
If you would rather we imported your vans and customers and set up agreements and payments, ask for it in the application.
The help centre and the console explain each screen as you go.
Questions
Yes. Each workspace has a database of its own; you are the controller of your customers’ data and GoVantage is the processor. You can export your records at any time.
Yes. After the trial the plan runs month to month and either side can end it on 30 days’ notice. Export your data first; it stays readable for 30 days.
You do. Your customers deal with your business under your name; we support you and your team.
