1. Choose a van and a plan
Pick the van class that fits your work — the van finder on our site recommends one from three quick questions — then a weekly plan. Prices are live and include VAT; what you see is what the invoice says.
2. Pick a start date and create your account
Choose your depot and a collection slot. Booking holds the slot while your documents are checked, so book first and upload straight after rather than the other way round.
3. Get approved
Upload your licence, ID, proof of address and DVLA check code (the requirements guide covers each one). We check them and run the insurance eligibility check if your plan includes cover. Most decisions land within one working day, and your dashboard shows exactly what is left.
4. Pay and sign
Before collection you pay the refundable deposit and the first week, and sign the hire agreement online. The agreement spells out the weekly price, the deposit, the excess and the notice period — read it once properly; it is written to be read.
5. Collect
At the depot we walk around the van together and photograph its condition, record the mileage and fuel, and hand over the keys. The check-out guide covers collection day in detail.
Changing your mind
You can cancel free of charge until a vehicle is assigned to you. After that we may keep part of the first week to cover preparation. Change requests — a different date, a different class — are handled from the booking page or through support, and are usually easy before assignment.
How fast can it be?
With clean documents uploaded the same evening, most customers collect within 48 hours of approval. If a van in your class is free at your depot, a same-week slot is normal.
