Before you arrive
Your dashboard shows a readiness checklist. Once every item is green — documents approved, deposit and first week paid, agreement signed — your collection slot is confirmed. Bring your driving licence; we check it matches the person collecting.
The walkaround
A team member walks around the van with you and records its condition with photos on a tablet. You see every photo as it is taken, so the record you both agree on is the baseline for the whole hire.
- Mileage and fuel level are written down together.
- Existing marks are photographed close up, so they can never be confused with new ones.
- You confirm the record on screen — it lands in your dashboard straight away.
Inside the van
We show you the basics worth thirty seconds: where the oil and washer fluid go, the tyre pressures on the door pillar, and anything particular to the model. Ask anything — it is quicker now than on the phone later.
Driving away
You get the keys and the key tag with the 24-hour breakdown number, and a copy of the check-out record by email. The same record is used at check-in, so you are never charged for a mark that was already there.
If something is wrong at collection
Spot a fault we missed — a warning light, a wiper, a tyre — and we fix it there or swap the van. Never drive away with a doubt; say it at the desk and it is dealt with on the spot.
How long it takes
Allow twenty minutes for a first collection: the walkaround takes ten, the handover five, and the rest is you getting the seat and mirrors right. Repeat customers are usually away in half that. If you are collecting several vans for a business, tell us ahead and we line them up together.
